We know the drill: by the time you’re ready for a prototype, you’ve already invested significant hours (and budget) into your design. While components usually drive the bill of materials, a single fabrication flaw can render those expensive parts useless.
At ASC Sunstone, we believe your focus should be on verifying your circuit logic, not debugging manufacturing defects. That’s why we’ve built a fabrication process designed specifically to give engineers peace of mind:
When it’s time to populate the board, Screaming Circuits takes over with the same level of precision. Specializing in short-run, one off, and rapid turn prototype assemblies, they offer the flexibility you need:
The result? When your boards land on your bench, you can trust they are built exactly to spec. If there’s a bug, you can be confident it’s in the code or the schematic, not a malformed through-hole or a soldering anomaly.
To get you from CAD to assembly faster, we’ve optimized how we ingest your design data. While Gerber and Centroid files are standard, providing ASCII-formatted CAD data greatly simplifies the programming work required for our SMT lines.
Pro Tip: Many CAD applications export ASCII data differently. We’ve put together a guide to help you extract this data from various sources to ensure a seamless import into our CircuitCam tools.[Download: How to Extract CAD Data Guide]
Your Bill of Materials (BOM) is the heartbeat of your assembly. Even if you’ve uploaded it for a quote, please include the original version in your final .zip file along with your Gerbers, CAD data (ASCII),(IPC-2581 or ODB++) and PDF drawings.
